Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories around the world.Job DescriptionAs a Facilities Handyperson is mainly a caretaker role and based in Perth Airport, you will assist with the maintenance of facilities in the Perth metro area.Some other responsibilities will be:

• Undertaking general repairs throughout the Facility i.e. patching, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and preventative maintenance, etc to ensure upkeep of facility.
• Gardening duties such as mowing, fertilising, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance, and weed control.
• Moving or relocating furniture, tools, equipment, stationery etc. as required or directed.
• Ensuring all bins are emptied daily and cleaned and disinfected as required.
• Keeping Facility grounds clean and free from rubbish and other debris.
• Liaising with the Facilities Manager on requirements for tools and equipment and/or supplies to maintain stock.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following:

• Solid working experience in a similar role.
• Flexible working hours to suit requirements of projects
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team (task dependent)
• Previous experience using hand tools such as drills, hammers etc
• Welding experience (not essential)
• Physically fit due to required tasks and responsibilities of the role.
• Fork Lift ticket essential
