As part of DHL Group, you will be working with a global network of Procurement colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities.We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Mumbai, India.Job Purpose:Roles that deliver day-to-day procurement services to all business divisions across the globe, through established efficient and user-friendly procurement processes and systems. We deliver procurement services through the Purchasing Service Centers from requisition to purchase order based on state of the art e-purchasing tools including user support (e.g. first level support, management of e-purchasing catalogue), processing non-catalogue requisitions and second level support for issue solving and master data management. Focus is on master data maintenance, data collection and validation as well as issue handling.Your tasks:

  • Carrying out global support tasks in area of the Procurement responsibility
  • Monitoring of automated processes and continuous optimization of chatbots for Support Function
  • Escalation and information management in area of Support Function responsibility
  • Collaboration in the development of support materials and training documents
  • Implementation of control measures for external services
  • Conceptual collaboration and coordination of internal and global cross-team Support processes
  • Administration of the ticket tool and the Procurement Support portal
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements in terms of issue/incident handling
  • Support of digitalization measures
  • Participation in global and regional projects, esp. supporting data collection sheets and its validation
  • Support of testing activities regarding the Procurement tools and processes used
  • Collaboration in regional or global Support teams as required
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Advise on procurement processes, standards, policies, tools, and best practices
  • Support in change management and quality assurance processes and assist with implementation of new suppliers

Your profile:Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification

Other Competencies

  • Confident handling of the standard software MS-Office Pro (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and experience with purchasing tools such as SAP SRM, SAP S/4 Hana, Coupa
  • Experience in the area of support
  • Project experience
  • Convincing and self-confident appearance when dealing with suppliers and divisional colleagues
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to deal with conflict, work in a team and be assertive
  • Awareness of responsibility and costs, precise working methods
  • High degree of commitment, ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English
