Job description: JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team and help manage, analyze, and optimize the financial operations of our businesses. With three active businesses and one recently launched, we are facing challenges with tracking profit and loss and improving financial efficiency. Your expertise will be critical in identifying areas of loss, streamlining our processes, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of income, expenses, and profits across all businesses.Profit and Loss Analysis: Provide detailed weekly and monthly profit/loss reports for each business.Optimization: Identify opportunities to cut unnecessary costs and increase profitability.Budget Management: Develop and monitor budgets for each business to align with goals.Cash Flow Management: Track and manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries to aid in decision-making.Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local regulations and business standards.Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting, preferably with multiple businesses or start-ups.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools.Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting.Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Experience with e-commerce or service-based businesses is a plus.Strong communication skills to explain financial data clearly to non-accountants.What We Offer:
