If you do not meet the previously mentioned civil service criteria, you will not be considered for an interview.The candidate will prepare Miscellaneous Payment Vouchers for reimbursement of personal expenses of DDC employees including on the job site travel as well as reimbursement for professional licenses and certification. Candidate is expected to review payment requests against the Comptroller’s Directive. Prepare agency checks for DDC’s Annual Employee Recognition. In addition, the candidate will reconcile monthly bank statements from the Imprest and Demand Accounts, prepare Comptroller documents for inclusion in year-end Comptroller Audits and work closely with the Comptroller’s Office to reconcile payment discrepancies.Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in accounting, including one course each in advanced accounting and auditing; or
2. A valid New York State Certified Public Accountant license.
