Job description: Job Scope / Position Summary This role is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and managing the portfolio across all lines of business. This role focuses on performance monitoring, portfolio analysis, stakeholder reporting and supporting special project, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables. Main Responsibility Portfolio Management Perform data extraction using available programming tools. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for performance review. Monitor portfolio performance for all lines of business. Ensure accuracy of the monitoring reports through regular data reconciliation and validation. Identify key trends and insights and propose corrective actions to optimize performance. Prepare comprehensive reports for management consumption. Portfolio Analytics Perform analysis in generating data driven insights in managing losses according to underwriting intent and ensuring loss ratios are within target levels. Provide actionable business insights to support decisions on renewals and new business acquisitions. Conduct market analysis, comparing industry trends with internal performance to identify gaps and growth opportunities. Support development and deployment of predictive analytics and Machine Learning use cases to enhance decision-making. Group Reporting & Stakeholder Enquiries Respond to inquiries and data requests from various stakeholders including group, regulator and management. Prepare timely and accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders with compliance standards. Others Undertake special projects assigned from time to time. Support cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc analysis to enhance portfolio performance and operational efficiency. Qualification and Experience Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or other relevant discipline Relevant working experience in the insurance industry is preferred, especially in the areas of Actuarial or Analytics Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Point Basic knowledge of programming such as SQL, R, Python, SAS and relevant experience in BI tools (e.g. SAP BI, Tableau, etc)
