Job description: Executive Officer in the Co-operative Education Office (Ref.: 531316) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year/three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)The Co-operative Education Office (Co-op Office) at The University of Hong Kong is dedicated to empowering students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities through the Co-operative Education Programme. The programme bridges academic learning with real-world professional experiences, offering students full-time paid work experience.Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage); good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; as well as an outgoing personality. They should also possess the ability to work independently with initiative; lead projects; and be able to work under pressure.The appointee will be responsible for the development, coordination, and management of the Co-operative Education Programme, including liaising with faculties within the University, employer partners and students, media design and promotion. Key responsibilities include supporting student recruitment, employer engagement, and programme promotion.
