Job description: Executive Officer in the Co-operative Education Office (Ref.: 531316) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year/three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)The Co-operative Education Office (Co-op Office) at The University of Hong Kong is dedicated to empowering students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities through the Co-operative Education Programme. The programme bridges academic learning with real-world professional experiences, offering students full-time paid work experience.Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage); good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; as well as an outgoing personality. They should also possess the ability to work independently with initiative; lead projects; and be able to work under pressure.The appointee will be responsible for the development, coordination, and management of the Co-operative Education Programme, including liaising with faculties within the University, employer partners and students, media design and promotion. Key responsibilities include supporting student recruitment, employer engagement, and programme promotion. He/She will also assist in developing new initiatives to enhance the programme and perform other duties as assigned by the DirectorA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.The University only accepts online applications for the above post.
