- Take ownership and responsibilities for the development of the Fund Administration (FA) & Middle Office (MO) and Custody products within the Securities Services business.
- Engage prospects in coordination with the Client Management Team to grow the FA, MO & Custody business.
- Seek opportunities to increase products to enhance revenue, whilst focused on cost optimization
- Work with Operations and ITD to embed new products and maintain support existing services as a technical SME
- Regionally focused SME
- SME for Fund Administration, Middle Office & Custody.
- Work closely with the Sales Team, based in the UAE to develop FA, MO & Custody opportunities with key prospective clients.
- Provide product specialist support and information to assist new sales opportunities or assist with technical issues for existing clients.
- Manage new product launches in a formal project framework ensuring engagement with all appropriate stakeholders through to final delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with the local regulators and lobby for change to increase efficiency of the local market.
- Guide Operations to the highest standards based on strong technical knowledge of FA, MO & Custody post-trade regulations and practices to structure
- Oversee and coordinate the local operational services with the Group Operations Hub to ensure optimal operating model. Ensure SLA’s are in place and are adhered to through administration of KPIs.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of local industry developments, ensuring the local business adapts to comply with changing regulation and client demand, in conjunction with the Product Development team
- Handle Product responses for RFI/ RFPs
- Owner of assigned Product Programs, including managing udpates, governance, and Operational Risk matters
- Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks;
- Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance / Business or related discipline. MBA and/or professional qualifications.
Minimum Experience:
- 12+ years’ securities services experience in the banking sector with at least 7 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the senior function.
- Strategic thinker and agent for change.
- Industrial sector expertise is essential.
- Sound knowledge of compliance, legal/regulatory environments.
- Proven track record of delivery against financial objectives.
- Experience in building and managing teams of senior executives and executing against agreed blue-print.
- Strong influencing and coaching skills.
- Good interpersonal, motivation, resource management & marketing-orientated skills.
- Experience of handling large size corporate accounts and winning new mandates with them.
- P&L responsibility.
- English required
