Job description: JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support to the sales and business development teams by ensuring excellent client service, efficient administrative processes, and well-prepared sales materials. The role also involves conducting market research and assisting in product development to enhance the company’s offerings. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines to safeguard client information and ensure operational efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide excellent client service and assist the sales team in developing and implementing sales plans and activities. Client Servicing & Administration Provide fast turnaround time in attending to client enquiries/feedback. Support sales team in servicing clients by conducting portfolio reviews and regular follow-ups. Assist administrative functions in BDD. Presentations Materials & Reports Presentations Materials & Reports Prepare and update presentations materials according to client requirements. Prepare routine and ad-hoc client reports. Application Processing, Agreements & Documentation Ensure that all client documents are complete, processed correctly and efficiently, and properly signed and executed. Organising Events Organise regular investment talks or any other events as and when required. Assist sales team to make arrangement to organise investment talks, presentations, sales training, etc. 2. Conduct market research and product development Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and launch products, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business standards. Develop and maintain documentations, including user guides, training materials, and marketing collateral. Facilitate internal product training to ensure teams are knowledgeable and aligned on product features and benefits. 3. Follow internal policies, SOPs, manuals, Securities Commission Malaysia guidelines, and other regulations. No disclosing of client information to external parties. Proper safeguarding & handling of confidential & sensitive information, documents, data, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in product management, marketing, or client support, preferably in the unit trust, fund management, or financial services industry will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial products in a clear, engaging manner. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Eager to learn, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
