Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a long established Non For Profit organisation based in Dublin 24. The role is to provide comprehensive support to its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Team.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and prepare materials in advance.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring sensitive information is handled with discretion.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Team, including scheduling meetings and preparing documents.
- Liaise with the Board of Trustees and Company Secretary, assisting with board meetings, documentation, and governance processes.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the central office, ensuring smooth operations and effective administration.
- Line manage the Central Office Administration Team and oversee hybrid working and meeting room bookings.
- Coordinate off-site events and support the organisation of major events such as conferences.
Key Skills and Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role supporting senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional documents independently.
- Strong time-management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience in the non-profit, health, or public sector; understanding of board governance and charity compliance.
