Job description: Job DescriptionPOSITION GENERAL SUMMARYTo provide guidance and advisory on standards and recommended practises as required by the relevants regulations (e.g MCAR, CAAM CADs, CAAM CAGM, MAVCOM Act, ICAO Annexes, ICAO Aerodrome Design Manual, ICAO Airport Service Manual, relevant SOP etc) especially on managing work in progress in Airside or in the vicinity of aerodrome & implementing periodic wildlife mitigation measures based on collection, compilation, evaluation and analyze of data.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate the engagement between other divisions in MAHB, MA (Sepang) divisions, airport tenant companies, government, and statuary organizations in regard to any airport works and planned development.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities and engagement with relevant parties in relation to the airside operation and coordinate activities for the airport to return to full operational condition as soon as practicable after emergency.
- Prepare Accident and Incident Preliminary Report and MOR pertaining to aircraft-related accident/incident.
- Coordinate activities at Emergency incidents/accidents and salvage operations. To act as a coordinator between Air Traffic Control and other relevant agencies.
- Develop, implement, and enforce guidelines for ongoing work in progress (WIP) within the airside area and in the vicinity of aerodrome.
- Monitor, review, and supervise contractors working in airside areas (T1 and T2) through regular progress meetings. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and procedures while evaluating their performance to maintain operational efficiency.
- Oversee, manage and review performance of contractors who works under the supervision of the Airside Services Department (ASD), including but not limited to grass-cutting contractors at T1 and T2.
- Participate in airside development projects from initial design planning to daily tactical monitoring, managing both major and minor projects requiring critical decision-making.
- Maintain effective relationships and coordinate with authorities, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding airside services.
- Provide input for HIRARC related to WIP within the airside area and ensure contractor timely submit the updated HIRARC accordingly.
- Prepare and implement Management of Change (MoC) procedures for all airside projects and WIP activities.
- Monitors wildlife behaviors and abundance, and evaluates hazards by conducting wildlife hazard assessments and control on airports, and recommends appropriate mitigation action periodically.
- Gathers, compiles, evaluates, and presents data including risk based analysis on damage or hazards caused by wildlife through regular programs and meetings.

- To ensure all work in progress in the airport comply with the regulations with timely execution by coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
- Produce best possible options to resolve/mitigate hazard related to work in progress and wildlife at airport.
- Ensure written procedure and adherence with SMS requirements on wildlife mitigation plan as well as work in progress processes

- Well verse of National and International Standard Requirements i.e. CAAM Civil Aviation Directives, ICAO Annexes, Acts, CARs, MAVCOM and other related documents.

- Diploma with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Supervisory role OR
- Certificate/STPM with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Supervisory role OR
- SPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Supervisory role
- Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least: Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
- The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counseling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months
External
- Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience.

- Familiar with OSH and DOSH safety requirement
- Familiar with Traffic Management Plan
- Familiar with wildlife taxonomy, biology, physiology, and morphology.
