Position Overview
This role is responsible for maintaining Paylocity’s employee-focused culture by planning and executing events and employee engagement opportunities that build and strengthen Paylocity’s culture.Primary Responsibilities
This position is responsible for collaborating on and coordinating all aspects of Culture and Engagement events, both in-person and virtual. The following represents the essential duties of this role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each of these core functions effectively.Event Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate, ideate, plan and execute culture and engagement events (both in-person and virtual) under the guidance of C&E leadership
  • Coordinate on innovative program concepts, event themes, and activations
  • Apply project management methodologies to ensure organized and successful events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support other HR teams and coordinators in international regions (Czech Republic, India)
  • Partner with internal teams (DEIA, CSR) to help drive company-wide initiatives
  • Cultivate relationships with key internal partners (Marketing, Communications) to enhance event effectiveness
  • Help C&E leadership in partnering with Paylocity’s Culture Crew volunteer program for support of event initiatives

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Source and develop relationships with vendors and external partners
  • Maintain a comprehensive vendor database
  • Manage event financials and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Adhere to allocated budgets for all events

Administrative & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate documentation for planning, execution, and post-event analysis (checklists, events planning, run of show, etc.)
  • Track metrics to measure event impact
  • Monitor event registrations, cancellations, and substitutions
  • Ensure appropriate event cadence aligned with organization-wide calendar

Communications

  • Ensure all event communications are updated across multiple channels (ESS Calendar, Culture Resource Hub, Community, office displays)
  • Support the C&E leadership in developing event debriefs with recommendations for future planning

Additional Requirements

  • Manage multiple concurrent events efficiently
  • Ability to travel 30%+ minimum based on business need
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience. High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of large-scale event planning with strong project management/organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with business acumen
  • Adaptable interpersonal style with ability to develop effective contingency plans
  • Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and anticipates needs
  • Effective problem-solving skills with customer service orientation
  • Ability to engage professionally with external stakeholders and community contacts
  • High degree of integrity when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Physical requirements: Ability to work standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and carrying over 50 lbs
