Maersk’s ESG Reporting Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Group Finance is growing, and we are seeking two talented professionals to elevate our ESG reporting capabilities. As part of the ESG Reporting CoE, you will collaborate with leaders across Maersk to take our ESG reporting to new heights.What We OfferProfessional Growth: Be part of a complex, global organization and work in an area where change and continuous improvement are a way of life.Collaboration: Build a global professional network through engagement with diverse teams across geographies and functions.Impactful Work: Shape how internal and external ESG reporting is conducted at Maersk, contributing to sustainability and value creation.Diversity & Inclusion: At Maersk, we value diversity as a strength and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all individuals can thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this newly established CoE, your responsibilities will evolve based on your strengths and interests, including:Sustainability Statements: Lead project management for preparing and delivering the Sustainability Statements in line with CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and Maersk’s strategic goals.Materiality Assessments: Review and update Maersk’s Double Materiality Assessment in collaboration with key partners.ESG Assurance: Manage external ESG assurance processes.Sustainability GAAP: Prepare and maintain Maersk’s ESG reporting manual.KPI Development: Support the creation of new KPI definitions and enhance existing reporting processes.Data Control: Oversee ESG KPI data control, collaborating with Finance and other teams to understand and explain data trends.ESG Reporting: Contribute to Maersk’s quarterly financial reports and internal reporting on key ESG metrics.ESG Ratings: Plan and manage annual submissions to ESG ratings such as CDP and EcoVadis.Advisory Role: Act as a go-to expert for ESG reporting-related queries, supporting topics like green financing, investor relations, and KPI target setting.Who are we looking forYou are an experienced professional with a passion for sustainability and ESG reporting. We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:Educational Background: Master’s degree in accounting, ESG, or a related field.Experience: 3–5 years of experience in ESG reporting, controlling, or auditing within a large company or professional services firm.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy requirements, with the ability to translate these into actionable, high-quality disclosures.Communication Skills: Confident communicator with a talent for building trustful relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.Results-Oriented: Detail-oriented yet able to maintain a strategic perspective, capable of managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, given our global scope.Why Join Us?This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in ESG reporting with the dynamic challenges of a global business.
