- Lead the material selection and corrosion control strategy for onshore oil and gas projects.
- Conduct technical reviews of project specifications, designs, and engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend materials suitable for various operating environments, considering factors like temperature, pressure, and corrosive media.
- Develop and implement corrosion protection systems, including coatings, cathodic protection, and chemical treatment solutions.
- Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor project progress and ensure technical accuracy, cost control, and adherence to schedules.
- Perform detailed failure analysis, risk assessments, and life-cycle evaluations for materials and equipment.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expertise in corrosion monitoring techniques and ensure implementation during project phases.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply , standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Keep abreast of advancements in materials and corrosion technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Support internal and external audits and address any findings related to materials and corrosion management.
- Train and mentor junior engineers to build technical capabilities within the team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years atleast 10 years in oil & gas and 6 years in FEED/Engineering experience.
- Experience in the middle east is preferred
- Be a team player where recognition of team performance as a whole is a greater priority than projecting individual contribution
- Be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities
- Assuring that work and project promises are successfully delivered and appropriate reviews have been conducted
