While you will have a good level of responsibility from day one, we’ll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills.You will gain a thorough understanding and experience of the role of an environmental consultant whilst gaining the breadth of experience needed to achieve your professional qualification.Your role in our team

  • Work independently in project coordination to track record in delivering EIS or RAP components.
  • Assisting in the design and undertaking of surveys and site investigations / stakeholder engagements
  • Advises on permits and stakeholder issues needed to advance projects
  • Data analysis of survey results
  • Conducting desk studies, including qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
  • You will contribute towards both statutory and non-statutory impact assessments, technical reports, environmental strategies, corporate reporting and prepare documents for submission within the planning system
  • Prepare inputs to Environmental Impact Assessments reports for ECC application.
  • Liaises with relevant external parties to ensure understanding of the client’s needs and project requirements

Is this role right for you?

  • Degree in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering; Civil Engineering or Urban Planning degrees with environmental components; post graduate studies will be an advantage
  • 8+ years of experience supporting /undertaking environmental impact assessments / environmental design / resettlement action plans /environmental modelling/ public engagements as well as environmental experience with municipalities
  • Familiarity with environmental assessment practices in the Philippines (and international guidelines will be an advantage)
  • Knowledgeable in environmental survey/sampling methodology and stakeholder engagement procedures in the Philippines.
  • Excellent technical writing, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity/experience with modelling or simulation tools/software will be an advantage
  • Self-starter and team player, able to be adaptable and work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Filipino (Tagalog). Other Filipino dialects are an advantage.
  • Liaises with relevant external parties to ensure understanding of the client’s needs and project requirements
