Job description: Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for mining activities.
• Monitor and analyze air, water, and soil quality to identify potential environmental risks and develop appropriate remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into mining operations, including mine planning and reclamation activities.
• Advise on the design and implementation of sustainable mining practices to minimize ecological footprint and promote environmental conservation.
• Prepare and submit regulatory permits, reports, and compliance documentation related to environmental aspects of mining operations.
• Participate in environmental audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of evolving environmental regulations and industry trends to ensure proactive adaptation of environmental management strategies
