Job description: Lead Forecast DeliveryJob OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Energy professional to lead our forecasting service, helping organizations accurately set carbon and fiscal budgets, purchase REGO’s, and Power Purchase Agreements on their way to Net Zero. You will support stakeholders in building and monitoring energy models that adapt to changes in the client’s estate.LocationBased in London, Northampton, Manchester, or another Mitie office, with occasional client site visits. Flexible working from home available 2-3 days per week.Main Duties

• Understand clients’ real estate strategies, including energy generation and reduction.
• Collaborate with energy managers, carbon consultants, and data teams to forecast future consumption.
• Build models based on historical trends and key variables.
• Enhance and deliver consumption forecasting models at estate and meter levels.
• Monitor models for accuracy and evolve them with changing client estates.
• Generate insightful reports on consumption forecasts and carbon footprints.
• Support system development with machine learning and automation.

Requirements

• Strong client relationship skills and collaborative approach.
• Exceptional analytic abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in energy consumption analysis and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mathematical software (Matlab, R, Python).
• Adaptability and continuous learning in forecast management.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• CMVP / PMVA qualified.
• Experience in measurement and verification.
• Ability to interpret energy data into future forecasts.
