Job description: This position is responsible for providing modeling and research support to energy market analysis and forecasting used by various groups in AboitizPower as a key input to commercial decision making and long-term planning and strategy.

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Graduate of Economics, Business Management, any Engineering or Math related, Preferably with post graduate studies
• Has at least 3-4 years of experience in Energy Economics and/or Energy Trading, or other analytical roles in Commercial Operations in Power business;
• Has at least 2-3 years experience in electricity market modeling using forecasts tools or statistical price modeling (i.e. EMCAS, Aurora, Plexos, R, LEAP, etc.)
• Has at least 2-3 years of experience in statistical/econometric modeling in electricity related output data.
