Job description: As an Energy Manager, you will play a vital role in optimizing energy systems, ensuring energy efficiency, and enhancing sustainability within chemical-pharmaceutical production processes. You will identify energy-saving opportunities, analyze energy systems, and develop economic implementation concepts. Working closely with engineering teams, you’ll contribute to energy procurement, forecasting, and emission monitoring to support the Visp workplace’s energy management goals.Contact: 03/02/2025 to 31/07/2025Location: VispFull-time, On siteLanguage: German and English mandatoryKey Job Responsibilities

• Energy Optimization and Project Coordination: Manage and optimize the energy value chain, from procurement to recovery, ensuring a secure, cost-effective, and sustainable energy supply. Identify energy efficiency measures, such as waste heat utilization and CO2 reduction, while developing actionable plans for implementation.
• Energy Analysis and Monitoring: Analyze energy systems, monitor plant emissions, and calculate district heating network expansions. Develop data-driven insights to improve energy efficiency and support new projects.
• Regulatory Compliance and Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align energy strategies with legislative requirements. Utilize funding programs to unlock energy-saving potential and maintain compliance with energy-related legislation.

Must-Haves

• Educational Background: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Process/Chemical, Electrical, Automation, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience: 0–4 years of experience in energy management or related fields, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Skills and Traits: Strong independence, reliability, and flexibility. A resilient team player with proactive thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for optimizing energy systems.
