We are committed to reaching net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040.As an End User Key Account Manager you’ll be responsible for nurtuirng the clients relationship accross public clients and creating lighting projects in the public segment of the Czech market via direct relations with End Users (municipalities, infrastructure managers, investors in sports arenas, etc.). By serving the customers on a project basis, you will unlock higher-value project opportunities by building and leveraging a solid network of contacts within the customer and ecosystem landscape, generating pull for our innovations.We’re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability.   • Act as the lighting and public segment expert, educate the end-users (quality of lighting design, energy savings, public procurement, connected lighting and smart systems, innovations, standards and directives, trends …), build trust in Signify as the market leader, develop relationships and convert them into projects
  • Identify, educate and develop relations with the End Users and related partners and influencers (specifiers, architects, distributors, installers, general contractors, connected lighting experts, “smart city” partners, maintenance companies, etc.)
  • Cooperate with the Sales Manager to become responsible for your business and profitable growth. Your goal will be to build the Signify brand in the market and generate projects.
  • Identify the projects worth pursuing directly. Others will be directed to the partner’s network.
  • Create an ecosystem (current and new partners, installers, maintenance company …, etc.) for each selected project and manage it from creation to delivery.
  • Manage complex dynamics within the customer ecosystem, including the cross-functional customer team, third-party specifiers and deal influencers, Signify partners, and alliances.
  • Cooperate within Signify cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales Specialists, Channel/End User Marketing, Product Marketing, Order Desk, Quote Support, Proposal Management, LiAS, Project Management, Customer Satisfaction etc.).

Your qualifications

  • Strategic mindset focusing on execution and a strong understanding of B2B End-user business in the Czech Republic. B2G experience or experience with municipalities is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of proven track record in key account management and consultative selling principles in a fast-paced technology industry.
  • You have experience in selling complex offerings consisting of multiple building blocks – e.g., diverse hardware, software, and servicing, designed to fulfill norms and standards.
  • A vast network of Contractors, Engineers, Architects, Specifiers, etc., in municipal, urban, outdoor, and terrestrial constructions is an advantage.
  • You understand Technology/Software & Connectivity domains
  • Lighting/solution selling experience or understanding of IoT selling eco-system is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in Czech and English. You are an active listener with questioning skills, a problem solver with the ability to win the seat at the right customer table
  • You can create demand for solutions by leveraging empathy and trust-based relationships.
