The Employee & Labour Relations team are a globally connected team, focused on our employees and enhancing the experience of our diverse global workforce. Integrity and fairness are at the heart of everything we do. We provide subject matter expertise on issues including workplace investigations, compliance, employee and labour relations. We are solutions-oriented advisors and strategic partners, helping employees, leaders and stakeholders to embody Apple’s values in solving employment and business challenges.Description

  • Provide support to Leadership, Employees, People and Corporate Partners with understanding Apple Policies and legal framework. • Identify, analyse and implement resolutions to complex and sensitive issues. • Guide, influence, lead and manage cases regarding critical culture topics • Evaluate and review employee related decisions in response to employee concerns. • Coach leaders through ER situations, continuously improving their skills including through delivery of training programmes. • Use metrics with clients to highlight trends and develop strategies to cultivate positive employee relations in the business and mitigate risk. • Support the labour relations priorities through partnership with key partners

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting Employee Labour Relations priorities in a complex matrix business
  • Proficient in balancing multiple priorities, partners and work streams
  • Strong command skills and an ability to influence others
  • Passionate about building positive relationships
  • Creative thinking to resolve challenging people problems in partnership with Managers and People Team colleagues
  • Outstanding communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation
  • Proven understanding of UAE employment laws and regulations
  • High levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a HR qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proficient Arabic speaker
