We are on our way to be a moonshot and to get there, we need to build an amazing team.You will report directly to Asia General Manager and work closely with the department of Hardware & Manufacturing leader to assist in the design, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems that power cutting-edge robotics solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with experienced engineers and contribute to the development of innovative robotic technologies.Location: Shenzhen, ChinaThe roleWe are looking for an engineer of Electronic Engineering with sufficient management skills and technical knowledge to join our team. You will have the opportunity to experience work within a technology startup.As an electronic engineer Maintenance Zone Manager a typical day might include the following:Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems circuits for robotic applications.Support PCB design, schematic capture, and component selection using CAD tools (e.g., OrCAD or others).Oversee the selection and integration of sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces.Perform troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits and systems.Conduct performance testing and ensure the reliability of electronic components.Ensure compliance with industry standards, including safety, EMI/EMC, and environmental regulations.Lead failure analysis and risk assessment for electronic components in robotic systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in electronic engineering and robotics.Ensure all designs meet industry safety and quality standards.RequirementsThis job might be the right one for you if:Have a Valid US VISA.Proficient English level (B2, C1)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Strong documentation and communication skills.Strong proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.Knowledge of power electronics, battery management systems, and motor control.Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and real-time operating systems is a plus.Agenda management.Leadership skills.Results-focused mindset.Excellent communication: Transmit ideas effectively, be clear about what you are going to do and have a general scope of the problem.The origin of any plan must be action: Act quickly in the face of problems in the field.Technical skills for problem solving.Sense of urgency: differentiate between what is important and what is urgent.Ability to interpret data and make decisions based on it.Be proactive and have the disposition to propose ideas.Responsibility: deliver reports and tasks in the established time.Leadership: encourage the comprehensive development of each member of your team, delegate efficiently and inspire them to be better.You might have also have:Knowledge of AI and machine learning hardware integration.Experience with safety-critical systems (e.g., medical robots, autonomous vehicles).Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (RTK, GPS, Wi-Fi).Demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplacesExperience in robotic arm control, sensor fusion, or autonomous navigation.Knowledge of cybersecurity for embedded systems.Career Path:Senior Electronic Engineering Engineer – Head of Hardware and Manufacturing – Vice President of Hardware and Manufacturing – Chief of Hardware and Manufacturing.What we offer you:As your career progresses, we commit to develop and advance your career.
