About The Role:We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to join the maintenance team based at our North Shore Mineral Separation Plant (MSP), located right on Koombana beach in the heart of Bunbury.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager our Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisoris the Site Electrical Nominee and is responsible for:
- Ensuring the safe and successful execution of electrical maintenance activities at the MSP in accordance with daily schedule and in compliance with Company and legislative requirements
- Proactively driving a positive safety culture within the team.
- Driving a culture of quality of workmanship, continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Scoping and planning of electrical works and repairs
- Co-ordinate and plan plant shut downs utilizing internal and external resources
- Minimising downtime through accurate fault-finding and investigation.
- Co-ordinating and supervising contractors
- Managing equipment data and history in the CMMS
- Ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities covered under the WA Mines Safety and Inspections Act and associated regulations
About You:To be successful in this role you will ideally need to possess:
- A WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence
- Electrical Nominee / Contractors Licence
- Electrical Instrumentation Certification
- Proven ability to take accountability for achieving and maintaining statutory compliance.
The following would be highly regarded, but are not mandatory;
- Familiarity with PCN networks
- Unity and Citect Scada experience
- An HV Switching Certification
- Gas Authorisation (Cat2)
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card
- Ability to obtain Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor
