We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Education Technology Business Development Executive to lead growth initiatives across the Irish primary and secondary school landscape. In this strategic role, youu0027ll be at the forefront of bringing cutting-edge education technology solutions to schools—empowering teachers, inspiring students, and shaping the future of learning.
This is more than a sales role—itu0027s an opportunity to be a trusted advisor to school leadership teams, to introduce impactful digital tools and training, and to help embed technology into classrooms in meaningful and sustainable ways.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against ambitious sales targets within assigned regions.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities across primary and secondary schools, working closely with key decision-makers.
  • Design and deliver tailored technology solutions, encompassing hardware, software, teacher training, support services, and flexible finance options.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with school principals, ICT coordinators, boards of management, and other education influencers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and needs assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline using CRM tools, producing regular forecasts and insights for senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at education events, conferences, and professional learning programs to showcase success stories and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (learning & development, technical engineers, customer success) and external partners to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Stay up to date on education trends, curriculum changes, and national digital strategies that impact schools and learners.
  • Support marketing campaigns by promoting events and driving registrations, ticket sales, and campaign participation.

Your Skills and Experience
Sales & Commercial Acumen
Proven success in B2B, consultative, or solutions-based sales—ideally in education, edtech, or SaaS.
Confidence in building commercial proposals, handling objections, and closing deals.
Experienced in pipeline management, CRM systems, and forecasting.
Education Sector Insight
Understanding of Ireland’s education system and curriculum frameworks.
A genuine interest in how digital tools can support schools in driving student engagement and achievement.
Technology Fluency
Comfortable discussing education technology ecosystems, digital learning platforms, and device management.
Able to translate technical features into real-world classroom benefits.
Relationship Building
Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Confident presenting to school leadership, teaching staff, and other stakeholders.
Ability to listen, empathize, and co-create solutions with clients.
Strategic Thinking & Initiative
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
Able to spot market trends, shape territory plans, and drive growth through strategic activity.
Project Management
Skilled in managing multiple engagements simultaneously with attention to detail and follow-through.Desirable
Experience working with or selling into the education sector.
Familiarity with professional learning models for teachers.
