Job description: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their skills as part of a busy ecommerce team. The participant will gain exposure and be trained in creating and uploading content, products and product information to our ecommerce website. The placement is office based in Ballyconnell and will include all aspects of selecting products for sale online, checking stock availability, researching suitable content and images and ensuring that product lines are listed in a way that are customer focused and rich in SEO for google rankings.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. The participant will receive formal/informal training and mentoring in the following: Formal Training: (20 hrs) Manual Handling Accredited Excel Training course informal Training ( 40 hrs) Product selection and categorisation SEO Photoshop & Canva Our ecommerce admin system for active websites Using AI as a tool in a functioning business.
