Posting Date: 2025-01-02Prosperity Lamps & Components LtdDynamic Lighting illumination & Business Development DirectorWe are looking for an experienced Dynamic Lighting Business Development Director.Dynamic Lighting illumination Business Development Director is responsible for the Lighting implementation and operation of the lighting system for the Hong Kong and China Dynamic and Architectural Lighting projects; Promote the brand and maintain the customers relationship in China.Work closely with the Lighting Control Team, Project term and Production Team to ensure that the lighting system meets the creative vision for the Dynamic and Architectural lighting projects.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in lighting as well as working in company with proven experience for lighting project. Applicant must be able to think on their feet and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative event core programs in lighting to better engage consumers by appealing elements riding on the latest trends, e.g. artistic presentation, innovative technology, light art / digital art, etc.
• Manage, oversee the risks as associated with each event and ensure the legal requirements as stipulated in relevant laws / guidelines / industry practices are properly met in China and Hong Kong.
• Identifying Growth Opportunities by analysing sales gaps, market trends and customer needs.
• Creating compelling proposals and presentations for potential customer. Pitching products and services to customers.
• Planning and conducting in-house and external training sessions.
• Attending conferences and seminars to build a professional network in China and Hong Kong.
• Approach new potential & maintain listing customers relationship
• Assist in improving company and brand image
• Good interpersonal skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business and management, or related field
• Minimum 8 years experience in lighting direction
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a team
• Strong portfolio of previous work
• Award winning design work
• Flexible schedule and travel to China
• Fluent in English and a regional language(Cantonese/Mandarin)
