This role ensures continuous operation of building systems, responds to technical issues, and supervises maintenance activities during assigned shifts, including after-hours and weekend coverage.What this job involves:Shift-Based Technical SupervisionAssist Engineers and Building Surveyors in performing their dutiesSupervise Frontline Team personnel engaged in the provision of technical servicesEnsure service delivery complies with SLAs, statutory requirements, and ordinancesMaintain high standards of work quality during assigned shiftsMaintenance CoordinationSupervise preventive maintenance work progress and ensure timely completionDistribute work requests to frontline technical team and track completionArrange frontline technical team to conduct first response, minor repairs, and routine monitoringExecute operational preventive maintenance works during shiftsEquipment OversightCarry out routine checks for correct operation of all control equipmentImplement daily/weekly servicing plansConduct routine checks of equipment in locations that include BMS control systemsProvide technical support/advice to frontline personnel on building services issuesContractor ManagementAssist management in supervising work performance and quality of vendors and contractorsMonitor maintenance contractors to ensure they perform services on timeReport on contractor activities during shiftsEmergency ResponseAttend to technical emergencies during assigned shiftsHandle typhoon-related duties as requiredPerform overtime work when necessaryWork in 24/7 operation in shift duty including public holidays/SundaysProvide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance when requiredAdditional DutiesHandle other ad-hoc duties as assignedSupport special projects or tasks as neededWorking ConditionsShift-based position covering 24/7 facility operationsWorks evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays according to shift scheduleMust be available for emergency response situationsDesired or preferred experience and technical skillsDiploma/Higher Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Service Engineering or equivalentMinimum 8 years of work experience in FM/PMAt least 5 years of relevant experience in E&M operation and maintenance worksRegistered electrical worker with license B0 or aboveProficient in computer applicationsGood command of spoken and written English and ChineseStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently under pressure with minimal supervisionLocation:On-site –Hong Kong, SAR, ChinaJob Tags:Transition ManagementIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
