And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a passionate, results-orientated, Mechanical or Engineer to guide the expansion of AWS facilities and services in new and existing regions by delivering site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments and delivering concept, design ready sites.Play a leading role in Due Diligence team at AWS, you will lead due diligence’s, partnering with stakeholders across the APAC organization, to shape the future of AWS’ infrastructure growth and evolving risk landscape.You will be responsible for the preliminary multidisciplinary design, assess and draw conclusions from a wide range of real estate, engineering, construction, policy, planning, and business development considerations, review and prioritize risk-based mitigation recommendations, partnering with internal stakeholders to secure funding and manage projects to successful resolution.Key job responsibilities
You will identify, assess, and prioritizing risks and mitigations to continuously improve the resilience of AWS infrastructure. You will be expected to regularly engage with stakeholders, and report to AWS leaders, across the business to ensure risks are being appropriately identified, communicated, and managed.The right person for this role does not need previous Data center experience but does need to have a strong track record of multidisciplinary infrastructure design and project management experience in APJC, the demonstrated ability to deliver multiple high priority projects simultaneously, the ability to drive alignment across teams with competing priorities, deep diving where necessary to ensure a path to green.
