We are looking for a skilled finance professional to join our expanding Business Finance Operations team, where you will collaborate across international markets to deliver impactful financial insights.Welcome to Business Finance OperationsYou will join the Business Finance Operations team, part of a globally expanding department with finance professionals across various levels of seniority. In Global Manufacturing and Product and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) the team is growing to enable increased value creation with the business. The team is global and is supporting +30 production sites based across Europe, US, Latin America and Asia. The culture in Business Finance is collaborative, supportive, and social, with an emphasis on creating a great team atmosphere.In this role, you’ll make an impact…… when you facilitate, coordinate, and deliver financial insights for Global Manufacturing and PPO. You will support strategic priorities that will allow Operations to provide competitive advantage promote efficiency in the inventory management and provide alignment across Operations in Novonesis. Your role will involve day-to-day partnering with the Contract manufacturing management team as well as collaborating with management teams in Global Manufacturing and PPO. Additionally, you will improve processes to optimize both business benefits and time efficiency.In addition, some of your key tasks will include:
- Following up on and planning financial targets to ensure the delivery of results.
- Providing insightful analyses that support business decisions balancing risk, opportunity, and value.
- Aligning and reporting on areas such as scrap, production variances, and other direct production cost.
- Partnering with the PPO team to optimize Inventory, product portfolios and production strategies.
- Support on strategic projects impacting manufacturing and PPO.
Your responsibilities will also include regular collaboration with other key stakeholders such as the Business Finance Operations team, corporate FP&A, and corporate finance. Together, you will ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.Who are we looking for?You are a proactive and analytical team player who excels in a dynamic and independent work environment. You have exceptional problem-solving skills and are well-organized, with the ability to prioritize among multiple tasks. You are ambitious, you want to make an impact and you have a hands-on mentality.Additionally, we expect you to have the following background:
- +4 years of experience from a finance role.
- A master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or Economics (e.g., Cand. Merc., Cand. Oecon).
- Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English.
