SUMMARY
This role is responsible for overseeing administrative functions within a specific division of our organization while also managing statistical data collection, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for utilizing data to drive decision-making and improve outcomes in the nonprofit sector.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the scope of the program policies and procedures, are as follows:
- Provide administrative support to the division leadership team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications.
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative processes and procedures to streamline divisional operations and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to the division’s programs, services, and initiatives.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data relevant to the division’s objectives, including program participation, outcomes, and impact.
- Design and implement data collection methods, surveys, and evaluation tools to gather quantitative and qualitative information from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program managers and staff to ensure accurate and timely data collection, entry, and validation.
- Conduct statistical analyses using appropriate software tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders, including division leadership, board members, funders, and partners.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance against established goals, targets, and benchmarks, and recommend adjustments or improvements as needed.
- Stay abreast of best practices, methodologies, and emerging trends in statistical analysis and data management within the nonprofit sector, and apply relevant strategies to enhance our division’s effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, public administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in administrative support and statistical analysis, preferably in a nonprofit or research setting.
- Proficiency in statistical software tools such as SPSS, R, SAS, or similar programs, as well as Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, entry, and analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
