No two days will be the same.Te Haeata/The OpportunityThis position is based at the Wellington District Court and reports directly to a Service Manager. The District Court Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Ministry remains dedicated to prioritizing and organizing cases throughout the District Court jurisdictions. You will be tasked with coordinating court hearings across various courts within the region. This presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with outstanding individuals across multiple courts. Travel to other courts within the region is expected.The role will involve close collaboration with Regional Scheduling Advisors to uphold court schedules and guarantee the seamless daily functions of scheduling within the Wellington Judicial Region.This role will engage closely with Court Registry Officers, Managers, Judicial Officers, and external stakeholders. Such collaboration will ensure adherence to our National Scheduling priorities, facilitate the effective prioritization of cases, and optimize the use of available hearing time. This position plays a vital role in enhancing workflow management and improving overall court performance.Key ResponsibilitiesThe District Court Scheduler will be responsible for the following:
