Job description: Role Overview:The Disaster Recovery Business Management Consultant will oversee enterprise-level disaster recovery strategies and ensure business continuity. Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery plans, managing risk assessments, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure minimal downtime during disruptions.Key Responsibilities:

• You will design and implement disaster recovery strategies for enterprise IT systems.
• You will develop and maintain business continuity plans.
• You will conduct risk assessments and formulate disaster recovery solutions.
• You will lead and coordinate disaster recovery testing and drills.
• You will manage vendor relationships and ensure recovery solutions are in place.
• You will respond to incidents, providing guidance and strategic leadership during recovery efforts.
• You will ensure compliance with regulations and maintain thorough documentation.
• You will train staff on disaster recovery protocols and maintain awareness across the organisation.

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and disaster recovery practices.
• Experience in project management and managing large-scale disaster recovery initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior management.
