How will I help?You will join Westpac’s Global Transaction Services (GTS) team, as a Transactional Relationship Manager dedicated to managing and maintaining a senior portfolio of key Institutional and Corporate clients in our Public Sector team.You will be responsible for partnering with and managing a diverse portfolio of Public Sector clients operating across various areas of focus for the Government of New South Wales. Tasked with activating and executing our strong Digital Reform and Transformation activities through disciplined pipeline management. You will be confident in identifying new opportunities for our clients and will demonstrate value-add services by designing and delivering innovative client-focused solutions and compelling presentations to improve operational and financial efficiency.You will also:

  • Manage the solutioning process for new and existing opportunities
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s strategy to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with the GTS technology and product investment road map
  • Participate in deal teams led by the existing client BDMs where clients choose to run a tender process at the end of their contract term

And we’ll continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.What do I need?You will be a seasoned Transactional Relationship Manager or an established Transactional Banker who has experience managing and meeting the needs of our clients and confident in developing long-term strategic sales plans to retain relationships. You will be able to analyse the existing strategy of your client to identify conversation points and product opportunities.Some further advantageous skills:

  • Exceptional skills in negotiation and relationship management
  • Advanced abilities in presentation, pitch creation, and solution mapping
  • Familiarity with strict sales disciplines such as pipeline management, call reports and sales plans
  • Strong awareness of industry and economic trends and a keen interest and acumen in current events
  • Transactional banking experience, ideally in sales is highly advantageous
