  • Lead highly collaborative projects to achieve whole of agency strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement best practice tools and processes to support agency decision-making, including through the effective use of data and insights
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leaders to support improved ways of working
  • Lead a team of professionals with diverse skills and experience to deliver innovative and quality solutions.

About youIn order to succeed in the role, you will have:

  • an understanding of the role of the ACCC, particularly the practical aspects of investigating and taking action for breaches of the Competition and Consumer Act and Australian Consumer Law
  • an understanding of the ACCC’s operating environment demonstrated strategic leadership and providing direction to deliver outcomes, build organisational capability and coach and shape a strong, successful and high performing team
  • demonstrated experience managing and embedding organisational projects and/or programs in agile ways
  • strong and credible interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to take an enterprise approach and work collaboratively to drive business outcomes, support continuous improvement and deliver change effectively
  • demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes pressured environment, displaying resilience and adapting to meet immediate and future challenges.
