Access theReporting to the Senior Director, Financial Accounting & System Operations, you will have 3 direct reports and approximately 40 indirect reports.What you’ll do
- Provide high level strategic management, ethical decision making and professional leadership to the Revenue and Banking and Payment Services teams.
- Lead and cultivate high performing teams through strong leadership, empowerment of staff, supportive feedback on performance and promotion of professional development.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with business units, including Pathology Queensland (PQ), to maximise revenue, including the timely recovery of revenue.
- Strategically use and manage financial, human and technological resources to deliver services on time and on budget, by focussing on efficiencies through innovation and automation opportunities.
About youWe are searching for someone with:
- Proven high level ability and achievement in the management of financial resources in a complex organisation, including the ability to prepare strategic, business and operational plans and secure team support to achieve cost effective outcomes in line with strategic priorities.
- Expert knowledge of contemporary financial management practices, which include, but are not limited to, healthcare revenue and billing, financial accounting, budgeting, performance management / improvement, financial modelling/costing and period end reporting.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyse evidence and to provide strategic advice on policies, strategies and solutions with respect to a wide range of commercial and general management issues.
- Demonstrated leadership in initiating, implementing and evaluating service and system developments to drive improved performance and greater value for money within a large and complex organisation.
- Highly developed and demonstrated negotiation, consultative, communication and interpersonal skills suited to dealing with a range of critical and often time sensitive issues at an executive level.
