We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.The role will be responsible for formulating the partnership strategies and leading the process of strategy development including insights development, business opportunities identification and strategic plans execution.Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and StrategyUndertake regular strategic review and provide recommendations on mid to long-term strategies on existing partners with an aim to take the partnerships to the next levelDevelop partnership strategies to drive product propositions and product mix to grow the partnershipDevelop market insights, analyze business drivers and feasibility of new strategic initiativesIdentify new strategic opportunities to further diversify distribution channels and product portfolioIdentify new growth engines beyond existing core business, including capturing new segment through new operating modelDevelop strategic business case and robust execution plans for new strategic initiativesWork closely and communicate effectively with key stakeholders and strategic partners in the development and execution of business strategyLead cross-functional teams to identify key risks and issues across potential strategies and support the development of risk mitigation solutionsBuild capability of PD Strategy TeamLead the Strategy team to understand the strategic framework and to improve effectivenessLead and participate in assigned projects to enhance the capability of the Strategy teamSupport departmental and ad-hoc assignmentsJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in insurance or banking industry with at least 3 years in managerial role on Partnership DistributionExperience in Partnership management is preferredStrong business acumen, strategic/ entrepreneurial thinkingStrong capabilities and experience in project management and /or executionGood team player and demonstrate good communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong ability to work independently, self -motivated and strong drive for resultsExcellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
