Job description: Job Category: Hotel-SalesJob Description:The Director of Sales & Marketing is a key executive team member responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic leadership in sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. This role oversees all sales channels-corporate, leisure, group, MICE, and digital marketing-while working closely with the General Manager to position the hotel competitively in the market. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the hospitality industry.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute the hotel’s annual sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing direction, performance coaching, and professional development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, group, leisure, and MICE segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee hotel marketing initiatives, including advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all channels and guest touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Manage the hotel website, third-party listings, SEO/SEM performance, and content creation.

Financial & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare annual sales & marketing budgets and forecasts, tracking performance and return on investment (ROI).
  • Analyse sales reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth or improvement.
  • Participate in business planning, budgeting, and hotel leadership meetings.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with brand standards and legal/regulatory requirements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international market segments.
  • Proficiency in hotel systems (PMS, CRM, RFP tools) and digital marketing platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
