Leading our property sales and permanent rental teams, this position is ideally suited for an accomplished agency leader looking to contribute to a global and expanding hospitality organisation.Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage the MINT Residential division, including Build to Rent (BTR), Permanent Rentals, and Property Sales, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence across Australasia.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the BTR portfolio and enhance the profitability of the real estate department, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks through market analysis.
• Oversee the negotiation and execution of property agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms, state legislation, and Minor Hotels’ operational standards.
• Provide visionary leadership to property management teams across Australia, fostering a culture of high performance, employee engagement, and continuous development through coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback.
• Collaborate with the Executive Committee and senior management to design and implement operational frameworks, systems, and processes that support the organisation’s growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all real estate laws, licensing requirements, trust accounting regulations, and Minor Hotels’ Code of Conduct, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Act as a spokesperson for Minor Hotels, representing the company positively in all internal and external interactions, including with Body Corporates, owners, and property developers.
• Prepare and present executive reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Committee, keeping stakeholders informed of key developments and performance metrics.

QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will require the following:

• Current Real Estate Certificate of Registration or Full Licence in at least one Australian state, with the ability to obtain mutual recognition in other states.
• Extensive expertise in real estate sales procedures and property management, supported by a minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of real estate legislation, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Proven skills in strategic planning, business development, and financial decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and handle confidential information.
