Job description: ABOUT THIS ROLEAs the Director of Predictive Analytics & Demand Forecasting, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading our machine learning team from the ground up. In this role, you’ll establish team processes, define best practices, and lay the strategic foundation for the future of machine learning at Kibo. You will drive both hands-on technical innovation and strategic leadership by leveraging and fine-tuning industry-standard models available on platforms like SageMaker and Vertex-AI. Your work will focus on optimizing demand forecasting accuracy and engineering efficient ETL pipelines to manage large-scale datasets, ensuring that our ML solutions are both robust and scalable.ABOUT KIBOKibo Commerce is a composable digital commerce platform for B2C, D2C and B2B organizations who want to simplify the complexity in their businesses and deliver modern customer experiences.   • Build and mentor a high-performing ML and data engineering team
  • Develop workflows and best practices for efficient and scalable operations
  • Design and deploy machine learning models for supply chain demand forecasting and inventory management
  • Build scalable pipelines to process and transform large order management and sales datasets
  • Collaborate with teams to define forecasting requirements and deliver actionable feedback
  • Integrate ML solutions with existing order management systems and tools
  • Drive customer value by leveraging demand forecasting for optimized order routing and proactive inventory reallocation
  • Maintain or refactor the existing processes that support the current BigQuery/Looker multi tenant BI platform
  • Optimize time series models, regression algorithms, and neural networks for accuracy
  • Monitor, fine-tune, and ensure the scalability of deployed models
  • Conduct EDA to uncover trends, seasonality, and anomalies in data
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows for reliable data ingestion and preprocessing supporting multiple Tenants and Data Centers
  • Utilize cloud platform GCP for model training and deployment

Skills & RequirementsWHAT YOU’LL NEED8+ years in data engineering or machine learning; 6+ years in supply chain forecasting; 4+ years in people leadershipStrong Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn expertiseExperienced in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and distributed systemsExpertise in supply chain processes and demand forecasting with skill in time series models and regression analysisHands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure for ML deploymentProficient in SQL,NoSQL, and columnar databasesProven ability to optimize and maintain ML models with a track record of innovation in forecasting accuracyBONUS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
