Job description: Director of FinanceDAY RATE CONTRACTORThe role involves supporting financial planning and analysis functions for designated areas within the Company’s European operations.Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and analysing management financial statements
• Conducting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Implementing management dashboards and deploying essential company metrics
• Providing accurate and timely analysis for Site Leadership and Executive teams
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis and modelling
• Assisting in recording journal entries and account reconciliation
• Generating internal management reports
• Performing financial analysis
• Participating in third-party audits

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the Company’s operations in Europe, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning.Skills and Abilities:

• 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in General Ledger accounting
• Experience with U.S. GAAP reporting
• Experience with multi-site financial reporting in Europe; experience with multi-site financial reporting outside of Europe is a plus
• Experience with manufacturing and/or engineering services companies
• Familiarity with Ireland business taxes and reporting deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred or Irish Chartered Accounting designation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• A professional appearance and customer service oriented
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Some travel is required.
