We’re seeking an Entrepreneurial Director of Business Development who thrives in a startup environment. This is not a role where you’ll simply follow a checklist—you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our growth strategy, executing new ideas, and directly influencing our trajectory. You will identify new channels, run lead generation campaigns, experiment with paid media, and refine your approach based on real-time data. A heavy emphasis is placed on action and execution; you’ll need to be hands-on, results-oriented, and ready to iterate quickly to achieve meaningful outcomes.Key Responsibilities
Own & Drive Growth Initiatives:

  • Develop and run targeted lead generation and growth campaigns across various platforms (e.g., email, LinkedIn, paid media).
  • Establish and document best practices for growth campaigns to ensure scalability and repeatability.
  • Continuously test new verticals, messaging, and channels to identify high-performing strategies that drive qualified leads.

Execution Focus:

  • Take ideas from concept to completion, iterating rapidly and pivoting as needed.
  • Translate growth hypotheses into concrete, actionable campaigns with measurable KPIs.
  • Ensure alignment of campaigns with overall business objectives and strategic goals.

Entrepreneurial Mindset & Autonomy:

  • Think like a founder: proactively seek out new opportunities, pilot innovative tactics, and own every step of the sales funnel.
  • Operate independently and strategically, taking initiative without waiting for direction.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies in growth marketing to keep strategies cutting-edge.

Data-Driven Optimization:

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and continuously refine approaches to increase conversion rates.
  • Leverage analytics tools to uncover insights and drive iterative improvements in real-time.

Client Acquisition & Partnerships:

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, nurturing relationships that lead to closed deals.
  • Explore partnerships with staffing firms, industry associations, and other potential collaborators to accelerate growth.
  • Build long-term client relationships by implementing post-acquisition engagement strategies.
  • Initiate collaborations with thought leaders or influencers in relevant industries to enhance brand credibility.

Qualifications
Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years in a business development, growth marketing, or related role.
  • Proven track record running successful lead gen and growth campaigns (email outreach, LinkedIn campaigns, paid ads, and other channels).
  • Experience working in a B2B services or startup environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with global markets and ability to tailor strategies to diverse client segments.

Execution & Results Orientation:

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives from start to finish, with a relentless focus on driving tangible outcomes.
  • Comfort with managing multiple projects, adjusting strategies as needed, and delivering on tight timelines.
  • Experience in adapting strategies quickly in response to market or campaign performance.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and paid media platforms.
  • Skilled at interpreting data, drawing insights, and turning analytics into actionable steps.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders, both internally and externally, to adopt new ideas.
  • Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations to clients or stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
