Job description: As the Director, Internal Audit you will shape the internal audit strategy, lead a high-performing team, modernize processes and oversee key programs like Internal Audit and Whistleblower initiatives globally. Collaborating with senior leaders and the Board Audit Committee, you’ll provide critical insights on business priorities, policies, and controls.What You’ll DoShape Internal Audit ExcellenceCollaborate with management and the Board Audit Committee to craft an annual Internal Audit Plan aligned with enterprise risk priorities and strategic objectives.Redefine the Internal Audit Strategy and operating model to align with IIA standards and deliver value-added insights.Lead the continuous evolution of internal audit practices through technology adoption and innovative methodologies, ensuring top-tier efficiency and effectiveness.Partner with leaders to deliver impactful guidance on critical business initiatives and operational challenges.Champion the Whistleblower ProgramLead Aristocrat’s Whistleblower and fraud investigation program with sensitivity and efficiency, partnering with Legal and People & Culture teams.Modernize the Whistleblower Program by implementing a roadmap that reflects best-practice standards and builds trust across the organization.Inspire and LeadDevelop and mentor a high-performing team of internal audit professionals, nurturing their growth and career aspirations.Manage relationships with co-sourced providers, ensuring top-quality outcomes and value-driven partnerships.Collaborate with executive leaders to establish credibility as a trusted advisor on governance, risk, and control matters.Drive Strategic ImpactEngage with the Board Audit Committee and Executive Steering Committee to deliver insights and recommendations that shape key business decisions.Enhance Aristocrat’s Risk and Audit strategy by identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, insights, and functional capabilities.What We’re Looking ForExperience: 12+ years in internal audit or risk management, with expertise in business operations, strategy, and governance. Global and multi-regional experience is highly valued.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred. Certifications like CIA, CISA, CPA, or CA are advantageous.Skills: Proven ability to manage audits, investigations, and multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines. Skilled in leveraging data analytics and enabling technologies such as AI and process mining.Leadership: Experienced in managing teams and co-sourced providers, mentoring talent, and collaborating with executive leadership and Board Audit Committees.Attributes: A strong communicator and critical thinker with high integrity, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.We work flexibly here at Aristocrat and have a hybrid work model.
