Job description: The Director Integrity and Compliance – Monitoring & Investigations will lead, shape and ensure the proper execution of the Integrity and Compliance Monitoring Program and Speak-Up Program across all divisions of Arcera. Reporting to the Chief Compliance and Sustainability Officer, this role will manage the company’s Speak-Up Line and the investigation and remediation process in line internationally recognized standards and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:1. Monitoring:
Maintain the Compliance Monitoring Policy framework and related templates with an eye toward continuous improvements.
Develop and implement Monitoring trainings for Integrity and Compliance teams.
Guide the communication process with the leadership teams and business functions involved in the monitoring exercises.
Lead and guide the regional Integrity and Compliance teams in planning and executing monitoring exercises; ensure alignment of risk assessments and the identification of risk trends across the organization.
Review and align remediation/action plans with the Integrity and Compliance teams; assist in the evaluation of gaps and potential improvements in the company’s Integrity and Compliance program and policies.
Provide strong support for the Compliance Monitoring reporting process, working with the Integrity and Compliance Teams in preparation of final reports and presentations to the compliance committees.
Prepare presentations of monitoring results for the global compliance committees and periodic reports to the Arcera Board or a designated committee.
2. Investigations:
Maintain policy framework for Compliance Investigations and the company’s Speak-Up Line.
Develop and implement Speak-Up trainings for the organization, including specific trainings for middle managers and senior leaders.
Develop and implement communication plan to foster a healthy speak-up and feedback culture in the organization.
Stay abreast of internationally recognized standards for compliance investigations; develop and deliver targeted trainings to functions involved in the investigation process.
Primary responsibility for managing reports coming into the company’s Speak-Up Line:
Conduct initial assessment of allegations of misconduct to determine if an investigation is warranted;
Assign investigation teams and assist in the development and execution of an investigation plan, including close supervision of any external resources engaged to support an investigation;
Lead global and high risk investigations;
Support Integrity and Compliance teams involved in investigations, including communication with reporters and witnesses;
Support the partnering with other functions on investigations; and
Ensure thorough documentation of investigations in the company’s system, including conclusions and remediation measures.
Oversee the periodic reporting on the Speak-Up Line and incoming reports, including benchmarking data, to compliance committees, the Board or a designated committee and ADQ.
Support the reporting of specific reports/investigations to compliance committees, and, in coordination with the Chief Compliance and Sustainability Officer, manage any escalated reporting to the Arcera Board or a designated committee, and ADQ.

Risk and Issue Management: Ability to interpret and contextualize facts Expertise in identifying, assessing and managing risks and issues, and developing fit-for-purpose mitigation plans and CAPAs.

Qualifications & Experience:
University degree; professional training in compliance investigations preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Compliance or a related function in a multinational corporation, preferably in Pharma, including experience managing sensitive and complex investigations.
Languages: English, other languages are a plus.
