Global Customer Project Execution
Global Project PlanningThe Planning function is one of the seven key functions within the Global Customer Project Execution department, alongside Project Management, Bid Management, PMO, Contract Management, and Installation & Commissioning. The goal is to optimise the value of Offshore and Onshore Wind Projects by creating and applying best practices, tools, and processes in partnership with regional teams and various departments.As the Global Customer Project Execution Planning Director, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing planning excellence and bridging the gap between project execution and planning. You will be instrumental in standardising and advancing planning capabilities, providing support to global and regional teams in improving project and portfolio results.In this role, you will be the primary stakeholder and strategic partner for Technology, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Transport, and Digital Solutions functions. You will work closely with these teams to integrate planning insights into business processes, tools, and systems, promote cross-functional synergies, and ensure that planning strategies align with overall business objectives.Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in Customer Project Execution planning, aligning with global and regional goals.
  • Standardise planning methodologies and implement best practices, especially in Primavera P6 and other tools.
  • Act as the main liaison between global and regional Customer Project Execution Planning teams, ensuring planning excellence.
  • Implement integrated project planning strategies to enhance project completion efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to optimise technical aspects of Primavera P6 and related initiatives.
  • Oversee the global customer project portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities within project schedules.
  • Manage and mentor a team of planning professionals, improving performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A relevant university degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in construction projects, including on-site execution and planning.
  • Over 5 years of experience in people leadership, with strong leadership skills in a global matrix organisation and the ability to guide without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 as a project/construction planning tool.
  • Familiarity with sales contracts and managing construction projects in a global context.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
