We are here for all Team Members and all customers to create, innovate and be better together.Responsible for leading the finance team to manage overall functions of Finance in Asia regions in compliance with company standard within set budget and local statutory requirements.Major Activities
- Oversee finance team to manage the financial needs of responsible regions in operating funds and payment within budget.
- Supervise on the building of the annual operating and capital budgets for Asia sourcing offices.
- Oversee the budgetary controls on the monthly spending and approve payments as per delegation of authority set by the company.
- Closely interface with local service provider to meet with financial needs and drive operational excellence in organization.
- Identify opportunity and derive effective strategies for cost to serve in order to achieve financial target as set by the company.
- Ensure all taxation requirements to comply with the local regions.
- Responsible for managing expense cash flow by regions, tracking, monthly expenditures and managing replenishment funds as required.
- Act as company primary contact for External and Internal auditors, government regulatory agencies, corporate Finance department, banks and financial intermediaries
- Responsible for managing monthly/annual financial book and expense reports.
- Work closely with Global tax team and external parties to review transfer pricing arrangement to derive cost effective strategies.
- Support Global insurance team to renew global insurance program
- Act as an effective leader to lead and develop high performing and engaged team through job related training, construction coaching etc. `
Other duties as assignedMinimum Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMinimum Education
- Degree Holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Qualified accountants to possess professional accounting membership e.g. CPA or ACCA qualifications
- Excellent computer financial modeling skills
- Proficient in data and financial analysis
Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in which at least 3 years in management level
- Strong financial analysis / accounting experience and operations of accounting system
Other
- Fluent in spoken and written English & Mandarin
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with good business judgment
- Up to 25% travelling
Preferred Type of Experience the Job Requires
- Relevant management experience preferably gained from sizeable MNC
- Financial analysis / accounting experience preferably from retail, sourcing industry
