What we offer:Salary: $55,000-$58,000Group health, vision, and dental coverage at affordable rates, along with family coverage if you choose to purchase it.Preventative care is 100% covered (free) on all plans.PTO is offered to full-time and part-time employees.11 days of PTO and 10 paid holidays annually.Option to participate in the 401K plan with employer match.$15,000 in employee Life Insurance paid for by Metropolitan Ministries.Employee Assistance ProgramOption to participate in supplemental group insurance plans at affordable rates.Tuition reimbursement programTraining and career development.Discounted membership at the YMCA.Job Functions:The Director, East Pasco Center and Partnerships is responsible managing daily operations, supervision of staff, services, programs, and program development at the East Pasco Family Support Center. The position serves to develop and foster relationships with local community stakeholders that will promote resources and programming at the center and assist with identifying, soliciting, and stewarding donor relationships in support of the mission, vision, and goals of Metropolitan Ministries.Essential Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day operations of Outreach and Prevention Services directly supervising East Pasco Outreach staff including full and part time staff, holiday seasonals, interns, VISTAs, and Outreach Volunteers to assure proper and timely service delivery. Maintains a master schedule for above positions continually improving service levels through consultation on best practices, program monitoring and reporting, problem identification and exploration, complaint investigation, and providing group and individual training.

  • Works collaboratively with members of the Advancement team assisting with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors through timely and effective donor communication including meetings, phone calls, emails, and mailings.
  • Actively involved in community organizations and events that provide exposure to a wide range of current/prospect community partners, donors, and stakeholders. Transition relationships to active partners to support Ministry goals
  • Develop strategy to create, manage, and implement Family Advisory Committee and Metropolitan Ministries East Pasco Ambassador Committee. Co-Chair SPAN Pasco
  • Oversees all data collection points from all areas in Pasco Outreach, ensuring the whole team is properly Service Point trained. Ensure team is equipped to facilitate services and relaying the current budget for services.
  • Manage holiday and seasonal event distribution for Outreach/Client Care to include planning, setup, distribution, and post event follow-up. Identification and development of East Pasco Holiday volunteer and donor engagement opportunities in collaboration with Volunteer Services and Advancement Teams to ensure staff, client, volunteer, and donor satisfaction.
  • Manage East Pasco Outreach communications through development of monthly agency newsletter content, design, and targeted distribution. Collaborate with marketing department on storytelling, social media post content, Outreach marketing materials. Collaborate with Director of West Pasco Family Support Center on Pasco wide Newsletter and SPAN Pasco identifying speakers and content.
  • Participates as part of Pasco Leadership team, attending meeting and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the East Pasco Family Support Center services.
  • Meet personal goals and actively contribute to the achievement of the team and organizational targets/goals as stated in the KPIs and the strategic plan. Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:Education and Experience:Minimum bachelor’s degree, four years of community outreach, engagement or related experience. National Family Support Network Standards Certified. (Will provide training opportunities)Knowledge of high-quality, low-barrier services to individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty. Two-year progression experience with program management/coordination and supervision of staff, with a minimum of three years’ experience working with low-income families. Ability to work with diverse groups and populations. Ability to manage multiple high-paced segments of a program simultaneously.Bilingual/ bi-cultural with excellent written and verbal communication skills (Preferred).Must be an agile, adaptable, resourceful leader and manager, committed to the agency mission, and will be accountable for all aspects of program management and oversight, including program administration and implementation, quality of care, and staff supervision and support. Possesses outstanding communication skills (both written and oral) along with a dedication to offer a TIC and welcoming atmosphere.Skills Requirements:Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; strong interpersonal skills; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in clients served; ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner; willing to work with minimal supervision yet be able to accept direction; well organized and detail oriented.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of HMIS software and CRM systems.Requires heart for ministry displaying a calling to serve and comfort working with poor and homeless families and individuals. Requires understanding of poverty, a high degree of maturity, strong inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with low socio-economic and diverse populations facing crisis situations in a professional and diplomatic manner. Knowledge of community resources available to homeless population. Must demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity. Ability to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary framework.Ability to offer services where homeless families are staying (car, tent, motels, and housing not fit for habitation). Ability to deescalate agitated clients on edge through Trauma Informed Care.Physical Requirements:Hearing and speaking ability, which allows for effective oral communication; physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress. Ability to transport, lift, or carry essential work-related materials or items up to 40 pounds. Ability to work long hours standing in all weather conditions daily and for special events.Other:Must pass applicable pre-employment screening and demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States.
