Pay Rate: Starting from $40 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; in office 2 days a week could change down the road
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end integrated communications plans and bring them to life through innovative programs and tactics.
- Drive comprehensive communications support for assigned Functions to effectively engage and inform defined audiences and stakeholders.
- Build strategic partnerships with key Executive Leadership and global business partners to capture and share relevant information ensuring colleagues are connected to our global mission, understand Function strategy and the role they play in it, and are engaged in our award-winning culture.
- Support Function colleague events (Town Halls, Fireside Chats, Lunch and Learns, etc.) with logistics support and day-to-day management. Assist in the development of compiling briefing books, decks, and metrics.
- Manage Function editorial content and calendars across all channels (Teams, MFCentral, email and TVs).
- Work with our Strategy and Transformation team to monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and campaigns (Teams, intranet, Events, SharePoint Hub, emails). Ensure campaign metric reports, survey analytics, and calendaring are kept up to date (using Smartsheet, Excel, Outlook, Forms, and PowerPoint).
- Create post-campaign reports, monthly and quarterly reporting for Function leadership and adjust strategies as needed to drive engagement and understanding.
- Build emails using Staffbase. Create and maintain monthly distribution lists for email and Teams channels, targeted to clear audience distribution definitions, aligned to upcoming campaigns.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience gained in communications within corporate environment
- Experience across multiple communications disciplines (e.g. strategy communication, transformation messaging, engagement, people, culture, brand, and storytelling)
- Exceptional writing and story-telling skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and build consensus effectively
- Experience managing executives through communications strategies, as well as interacting with all levels of the organization and handling confidential information professionally
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple work streams at a fast pace, with acute attention to detail, completeness and accuracy
- Proven track record of success handling multiple projects and the ability to tie results to strategic business objectives
