Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.What You’ll Be DoingDirect Payments give social care customers choice and control over the care and support they receive. The Direct Payment Officer is responsible for setting up, paying and monitoring how Direct Payments are used in Adult Social Care so that both customers and public funds are safeguarded. You will also liaise with customers, care management and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide information and advice.This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.All About YouYou will have knowledge of Direct Payments legislation, guidance and best practice whilst having the ability to analyse and interpret information such as bank statements and financial spread sheets and use judgement to make recommendations for improvements.Good interpersonal skills including the confidence to be a credible advisor to managers and stakeholders are essential, as is having experience of and commitment to working in a customer focused environment ensuring high quality standards are implemented and reviewed as necessary.You will have experience of working with financial systems and maintaining procedures.As well as having the knowledge of client-based information systems, preferably Frameworki/Mosaic.To find out more about what it is like to work at Camden, meet some of our People by visiting ‘www.camdenjobs.co.uk/our-stories’.How To ApplyTo apply for this job please follow the “Apply” link.
