ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

• Reports to: Marketing DBS Manager
• Reporting Level: Senior Manager
• Geographic Scope: APMEA South

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORData Analysis & Insights:

• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and trends.
• Utilize statistical models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Provide recommendations based on data insights to enhance business operations and strategies.

Digital Analytics & Web Scraping:

• Leverage digital analytics techniques to gather and analyze online data.
• Implement web scraping methodologies to extract relevant market and consumer insights.
• Use digital tracking tools to monitor consumer behaviors and competitor activities.

Data Visualization & Reporting (Power BI Expert):

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI.
• Create compelling visualizations to simplify complex data insights.
• Automate reporting processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and other departments.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with various departments to understand data needs and support their initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business units and the analytics team to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Present insights and findings in a clear, actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement:

• Support the development and implementation of the organization’s data strategy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements using data-driven insights.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging data technologies, and advancements in digital analytics.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEExperience Required

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work
• Required to have Power BI (Expert Level) – Dashboard creation, data modelling, DAX, Power Query
• Added advantage to have Python/R – Data analysis, statistical modelling
• Added advantage to have Excel (Advanced) – Pivot tables, Power Pivot, VBA
• Added advantage with Digital Analytics Platforms – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics experience
• Preferably someone with SQL – Database querying, data transformation, and management experience
• Preferable someone with Web Scraping Tools – Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy experience

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Degree qualification with any relevant courses
