Job description: Senior Database DevOps EngineerWe’re seeking an experienced Database DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on enterprise-level database code management and automation.This role combines deep database expertise with modern DevOps practices to drive efficient, scalable database operations.Essentially what we are looking for is technical leader who can bridge the gap between traditional database administration and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and cross-team collaboration.Required Technical Skills:
- Extensive Python programming experience
- Advanced Git/Bitbucket source control management
- Oracle and/or SQL Server Database Administration
- Strong PL/SQL development and management capabilities
- Proficiency with DDL/DML change management tools (TOAD, Redgate Flyway, Liquibase)
Desired Additional Skills:
- Bitbucket automation and pipeline configuration
- Ansible infrastructure automation
- AWS/Azure cloud platform experience and certifications
- Atlassian suite proficiency (JIRA, Bitbucket)
- Unix/Windows operating system administration
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Implementation of data governance and masking solutions
Key Experience Requirements: – You should demonstrate successful enterprise-level implementation of database code management solutions, including:
- Oracle DDL/DML code management at scale
- Git-based source control integration
- Management of parallel database development streams
- Multi-repository orchestration
- Automated delivery pipeline implementation
- Development and implementation of branching strategies
