Vaughan is your place to grow.Position OverviewResponsible for safeguarding Letters of Credit, and processing renewals, reductions, and releases. Maintains cash security deposits, in accordance with corporate guidelines, procedures and policies, and responds to inquiries/requests from financial institutions, development industry and the public regarding letters of credit and cash securities. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to review draft letters of credit and initiate various inspections.Qualifications and Experience
- Two (2) year College Diploma in business administration/accounting
- Minimum four (4) years accounting experience, preferably in a municipal environment
- Working knowledge of financial institutions.
- Working knowledge of development and permit agreements
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office. JDE, Planit, Versatile and AMANDA experience an asset.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with staff, development community and general public.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the City’s core competencies and relevant functional competencies.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours as required and in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Expected salary: $2691.54 – 2872.45 per month
